Teaching

I love teaching. My grandparents were public school teachers in Jauja, a small town in the Peruvian Andes. I started teaching math and literature as a volunteer in Peru's rural regions as a teenager, and since then, I knew I wanted to teach forever.

I am always trying to learn new teaching methodologies and am particularly interested in bringing social movements to classrooms. The Yale Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning awarded me the 2022 Teaching Innovation Project (TIP) Grant to build strategies to connect university classrooms with social movements.

If you have new ideas for the classroom or if you think it could be interesting for your students to hear about my research, don't hesitate to get in touch with me!
